The Środa Treasure

The Środa Treasure is a hoard of silver and gold coins, gold jewellery and precious stones. The hoard dates from the mid 14th century. In 1985 a worker doing renovation work in an old house in the town square smashed an urn filled with 3,000 silver coins. It was quickly secured by Communist authorities.

Środa is a medieval town in Silesia, southwestern Poland.

Three years later more gold and silver started turning up. The finds were kept quiet and much of the discovery vanished into private hands.

So much was found that eventually someone thought to scour the municipal dump, turning over piles of rubble taken from renovation projects. More treasure was found there, including gold jewelry.

The Środa Treasure is one of the most valuable archaeological finds of the 20th century. Much of the treasure is thought to have been lost to looting.

Over the following years, archaeologists and historians have speculated about the treasure's origins, while museums and wealthy individuals have competed for pieces of the treasure at auction. The treasure most likely belonged to the Emperor Charles IV of the House of Luxemburg. Around 1348, needing funds to support his claim to the Emperorship, Charles pawned various items to the Jewish banker Muscho (Mojżesz, Moishe) in Środa.

Soon afterwards, the black plague descended on Środa. Mojżesz was never heard of again. It's believed that he either fled from the plague-struck town, died of plague, or perhaps fell victim as Jews were blamed for spreading the plague. What is certain is that no one ever reclaimed the treasure, which was left hidden in the town for hundreds of years.

Coinage of Akragas

Akragas was a wealthy and powerful Greek state on the southern coast of Sicily, second only to Syracuse in importance. The city was famous for its lavish buildings.

Early designs of the coinage of Akragas remained consistent for nearly a century, depicting Zeus’ standing eagle on the obverse and a crab on the reverse. Around 415 BCE, a shift took place, reinvigorating all denominations of their coinage. The designs became much more intricate.

The coins have been ranked as some of the most beautiful ever produced. Carthaginians sacked the city in 406 BCE, an attack from which Akragas never fully recovered and which put an abrupt end to a period of outstanding coinage.

During the Carthaginian siege of 406 BC, Akragas minted emergency gold coinage. To address the severe financial crisis and need to pay mercenaries, the city melted down it's gold votive offerings. (sacred offerings to the gods)

Etruscan Gold

The Etruscan civilization dominated the north of what is now Italy from about 700 BCE until about 300 BCE. It is known that they had a language not related to that of the Italic tribes. Etruscan kings ruled in Rome and other Italian city states.

Their arts flourished, including outstanding goldsmithing. The Etruscans took great pleasure in wearing ostentatious gold jewellery. Etruscan metalworkers produced many fine items not only in gold, but also in bronze and silver. The gold jewellery was often ornamented with filigree (fine wire) and granulation (tiny gold granules) formed into patterns. This latter technique has been mimicked in recent times but modern goldsmiths have never achieved the powder-fine granules of the Etruscan metalworkers.

Etruscan goldsmiths learned the basic technique of granulation from the Phoenicians, but the Etruscans took it to new heights of excellence and delicacy through extreme miniaturization. Granulation refers to the side by side application of tiny beads of gold. Twisted, or 'corded' gold wirework was also applied to jewels in the Etruscan style. Modern jewelers have not been able to duplicate the skill and fine precision of the ancient craftsmen.

Around 550 BC Etruscans started to engrave semi-precious stones like carnelian. Gem carving reached its apex from 480-300 BC.

Miriam and Jack Yaniv – the parents of Jonathan Yaniv, were both born in Israel. Yitzhak Yankilevich aka Jack Yaniv was born on August 14, 1937 in Tel Aviv and immigrated to Canada in 1966. He died January 25, 2013 in Surrey. Miriam Yaniv was born January 30, 1954 in Israel. Miriam’s parents were Hana Seeberger (1921-1997) born in Germany and Baruch Altmann (1922-2006) also born in Germany. Jack Yaniv’s children from his first marriage are proud Jews. Miriam Yaniv is a proud Jew. Her parents are buried in a Jewish Cemetery.

Jonathan Yaniv's medical records from 2019 noted Ashkenazi genes. Jessica Simpson, Jessica Yaniv, Jonathan Yaniv is Jewish. His claiming to be Métis is a grift. He also claims to be disabled and that is another lie to game to the system.

Jonathan Yaniv has filed 5 separate complaints against BC Emergency Health Services for discrimination based on his sexual orientation. All have been denied. The PHSA sued Yaniv to stop the continuous abuse of first responders. File 2272418. The day after PHSA got a judgment for $4,499 - $3,500 penalty plus court costs, Yaniv claimed on social media that he was “sexually harassed and abused”. Evidence was so egregious the judge unsealed the case and awarded costs to PHSA. They started collection on June 26, 2025.

In 2019 Yaniv made a human rights complaint against Canada Galaxy Pageants seeking $10,000 in damages for “injury to dignity and feelings” after being denied status as a contestant. That made global headlines.

Jessica Simpson, aka Jessica Yaniv aka Jonathan Yaniv is making multiple copyright claims for 3rd parties whom he has nothing to do with. Jonathan Yaniv is most famous for suing beauty salons that refused to wax his genitals. He demanded $500k in damages and got zero. He was ordered to pay $6,000 to 3 of his 13 targets but has paid zero.

Jonathan Yaniv and his mother are being evicted from his Langley condo for mortgage default. Yaniv (@SFUJessica) must pay $338,142 CAD on July 10th to Alta West.

Failure to pay out the mortgage means an application for order for sale or order absolute. Yaniv played his disability card but it didn't fly ...
